1. Data We Collect

Based on our technical infrastructure, we collect and process the following information:

• IP Addresses: For security and abuse prevention, your IP address is recorded in our server logs at the time of upload.
• File Metadata: We store the original filename and generate a cryptographic hash (SHA256) of the file content.
• Report Data: If you use our abuse feature, the information you provide (URL, reason, and comments) is transmitted to our moderation team via a third-party integration.

2. How We Use Your Data

We process this data under the legal basis of Legitimate Interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for the following purposes:

• Abuse Prevention: IP logging and file hashing help us identify and block repeat offenders or banned content.
• Service Functionality: We rename files to a shortened hash to ensure unique, permanent URLs for your uploads.
• Safety: The abuse reporting system allows us to respond to illegal content promptly.

3. Data Retention

• Upload Logs: Logs containing IP addresses and filenames are stored on our server to assist in legal compliance and server management.
• Uploaded Content: Files remain on our server until they are manually removed by an administrator or requested for deletion by the uploader (subject to verification).

4. Third-Party Data Transfers

We do not sell your data. However, data is shared in the following instances:

• Discord Webhooks: Information submitted via the abuse form is sent to Discord for moderation review.
• Legal Authorities: We will disclose logs and files to Romanian or EU law enforcement if presented with a valid legal warrant or if the content violates child safety laws.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you.
• Request the deletion of your uploaded files.
• Object to the processing of your IP address in our logs.
• Note: Because we do not use user accounts, we may require proof that you are the original uploader (e.g., providing the original file or the IP address used) to process these requests.
